Raghupathi Cavale
Raghu Cavale has 40+ years of experience in building deeptech businesses. A well recognized Engineer, a proven Salesman and a popular teacher/mentor Raghu is now an Advisor/Board Member/Visiting Faculty.
The 40 years have taken through electrical, mechanical and chemical sectors across functions of engineering, design, product development , project execution, sales and finance.
Raghu is presently teaching at Manipal University and sits on the Board of a 3D Printing company, a new age space company and is an advisor to a large US PE fund.
RAKESH AGHI
Rakesh is a seasoned investor and industrial strategist with over 35 years of experience in aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing. He has built, acquired, and scaled multiple global businesses, including Cobra Carbide and Advanced Coating Technologies—recognized suppliers to leading aerospace and defense primes. With deep expertise in cross-border investments, M&A, and operational integration, Rakesh focuses on creating long-term enterprise value through strategic partnerships and innovation. His extensive global network and proven track record position him as a key advisor and investor in high-growth industrial and defense ventures worldwide.
ANKIT BENGANI
Ankit is the Principal & Director at Marwar Capital, where he leads the global investment efforts for the family.
Marwar Capital is a single-family investment office and, as a family office, it has been investing into Indian alternatives markets since 1998 and since 2009 have been gradually investing in funds selectively in US & Asian markets. The family-owned business conglomerate has a continued history of over a century in conducting businesses across various sectors worldwide, while adhering to the highest standards of trust, ethics & integrity. The group is active in Paper, Pulp, Chemicals, Education, Mobility, Media & Industrials.
Prior to Marwar, Ankit spent over 14 years gaining knowledge in the financial & capital markets by working with firms like Kotak Investment Bank, Samena Capital (India) and International Head of Motilal Oswal. Ankit holds a Finance degree from H. R. College of Commerce, Mumbai and post-graduate degree in Business Management, University of Mumbai.
Ankit has been active in various social & philanthropic interests of the family, while also assisting in the education and healthcare welfare activities in rural Rajasthan and Maharashtra by his foundation – VeCare.
KASHISH SHAH
Kashish brings over a decade of expertise in capital markets.
Since 2019, he has been with Marwar Capital, where he oversees the family office’s investments across various asset classes.
Prior to this, Kashish played a pivotal role in establishing the international business at Motilal Oswal Asset Management.
His academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree in management studies and a master’s degree in commerce and finance from Mumbai University.
